The Minecraft mod adds 29 species of penguins to Minecraft, including all living penguins and 5 extinct species. Each penguin has a unique model, animations and sound effects. The mod also adds unique penguin egg models and penguin chick models.

How to Play

1. All existing penguins will spawn naturally on beaches and ice.

2. Penguins living in Australia, New Zealand, South America, Africa and Subantarctic regions will spawn on the beach.

3. Penguins living in Antarctica will be generated on ice.

4. Feed two adult penguins of the same species with raw fish (cod) and they will lay eggs. The chicks will hatch in about 5 minutes.

5. All penguins have unique egg and chick models (based on real life).

Extinct penguins can only spawn at night. They initially spawn as ghosts and burn in sunlight. If you want to revive them, splash them with a Potion of Weakness, then immediately heal them with a Totem of Undying. After some time, their eyes will return to normal and they will no longer burn during the day. Name the Adélie penguin tencent_ and you can trade with it. At level 2, you can purchase a 1:1 scale Mosasaurus statue from Penguin for 58 Penguin Coins.
