The vote to update with version 18.0 has been going on for some time now, as the new 18.0.9 update is coming, the result is pretty much settled. Unlike previous votes, all three options are new NPCS, including CRAZY CUCUMBER, PHYSALIS, and CANNED TOMATO.
Now PHYSALIS is well ahead of CRAZY CUCUMBER and CANNED TOMATO with 63% of the vote. It is almost certain that PHYSALIS will be the winner of this vote.
Some people may ask what the hell PHYSALIS is. In fact Physalis is a tart berry, somewhat resembling a tomatillo, wrapped in a papery case. This papery wrapping gives it the look of a tiny Chinese lantern — hence the nickname. However, it does not originate in Asia. The fruit is native to South American countries, including Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, and Chile. And this is how it looks like:
