Mod details

THE HISTORY

A deadly virus has swept through the world of Minecraft, killing some entities instantly (such as creepers, skeletons, etc.) and turning all others into undead... zombies.

Various types of zombies have taken over the Minecraft world, each type has its own characteristics, be it speed, strength or something else.

Anyway, if you see a zombie... run away.

NPCs will automatically attack zombies, just like zombies will automatically attack NPCs. If an NPC dies from a zombie attack, they themselves become zombies.

The Zombies

When you kill a Zombie it will turn into a dead Zombie, it will lay in the floor and start to decompose. Decomp has 3 stages.

The 1st stage：

Freshly killed zombie corpses will remain fresh for 20 seconds. During this time, you can use the carving knife to remove some of the carrion from the corpse. Removing carrion will cause the zombie corpse to enter the next stage of decay.

The 2nd stage： 

You will see the zombies begin to decay, this phase will also last 20 seconds. During this time, you can use the carving knife again to remove some carrion from the corpse. Removing carrion will cause the zombie corpse to enter its final stage of decay.

The final stage ：

The zombie will now be reduced to a skeleton. This stage will also last 20 seconds before the skeleton disappears forever. During this time, you can use a cleaver to chop away at the skeleton and collect bones. By doing so, the skeleton will disappear.

The Animals

Rat

Rats will randomly appear in your world and they will avoid the player. Rats will drop a piece of raw rat meat or a slime ball when killed. Rats will eat rotting zombies. If you wear a Carrion Breastplate, rats will think you are rotting zombie flesh and will attack you.

Zombie Wolves

Zombie wolves will randomly appear in your world and attack you like zombies. But due to their keen sense of smell, they will penetrate the carrion breastplate and still attack you. Zombie wolves will also attack healed babies.

Crow

Crows will randomly appear in your world and they will avoid the player. When a crow is killed, it will drop a piece of raw crow meat or a feather. Crows will eat rotting zombies. If you wear rotten flesh armor, crows will think you are rotting zombie flesh and will attack you.

Weapons

You will have all your normal swords that Minecraft has to offer. But more weapons will be coming update by update.

Sentry Gun:

Place a Sentry Gun anywhere, and it will stand guard and look out for any Zombies that come across it. When you first place it, it will be empty. You will need to load it with Sentry Gun Bullets. Once you have done this, the Sentry Gun will come online and start looking for threats. Each case of Bullets will last 5 minutes before it becomes empty and needs to be reloaded. 10 seconds before the Sentry Gun is empty, it will drop the Empty Bullet Case so you can use it again.

You can take down the Sentry Gun by interacting with a Crowbar.

Ammo Creation

You will recieve an empty Magazine when your gun runs out of bullets

You can now craft your own ammo for your guns

First you need to find Sulfur Ore and Potassium Nitrate Ore and mine it.

Sulfur and Potassium Nitrate can only be found in Desert and Mesa Biomes at "Y" axis 30

Craft that together will some Charcoal Powder to make Pure Gunpowder

You will need to collect all the new Crafting Benches to allow yourself to make all size ammo

The Collectables

In addition to trying to stay alive for more than a day, you can now embark on a side quest to collect all the newspapers featuring headlines about the oncoming storm that we now know was the end. 

All 8 newspapes can be found in House and Tube Structures only, They are the rarest item in this add-on. You can place them on Newspaper Stands to show off to your friends.

The Army Foot Locker is a Chest that once tamed can only be acceced by the owner

Add a Padlock to the Foot Locker to own it

Body Armor

5 types of Body Armor has been added.

Super Light Weight, Light Weight, Standard, Heavy Duty and Super Heavy Duty.

These can all be found in chests 

Super Lightweight Body Armor - 50 Durability - 2 Protection

Lightweight Body Armor - 100 Durability - 3 Protection

Standard Body Armor - 200 Durability - 4 Protection

Heavy Duty Body Armor - 300 Durability - 5 Protection

Super Heavy Duty Body Armor - 500 Durability - 7 Protection

CB Radio

CB radios can be found in watchtower structures and you will need a battery to power it. Batteries can be found in watchtower chests. Put the battery in the radio and it will turn on. Interact with the radio and it will call for help, and 3 Special Forces soldiers will appear around you, ready to kill any zombies that stand in your way.

When you use a radio, the battery drains. You need another battery to call for help again.

The Cure

To make the antidote, you need to explore!

First, look for oxygen tanks in all structures and collect as many as possible. After finding the oxygen tank, find a sand biome and talk to the man in the hazmat suit. Men in hazmat suits would trade their oxygen tanks for empty ones.

Now that you have an empty bottle, you need zombie blood!

Kill any zombies and interact with the corpses to get a vial of blood, collect as many as you can as not all blood is valid.

This is the exploration part: you need to find laboratory structures in the Sand, Jungle, and Savanna biomes, which are the only places you can get the CDCKG85 Antidote and Vortex Mixer.

One you have found these items you can craft the Cure

8 Vials of Blood with 1 CDCKG85 Antidote will give you 8 Vials of the Cure (Unmixed)

Insert the unmixed cure into a Vortex Mixer and wait 20 seconds this will mix the Cure so it can be used.

CURING A ZOMBIE

(Incurable zombies: nether zombies, death zombies, soul zombies, experimental zombies, gang member zombies, crawling zombies, swimming zombies)

When you are near a zombie, interact with it while holding the antidote, which will start a reaction that lasts 7 seconds. After 7 seconds, 3 things may happen:

Zombies die.

Zombies are cured.

invalid.

I recommend wearing the Carrion Breastplate to get closer to zombies.

Use Toblerone on cured or vaccinated NPCs to begin the breeding process.

When you vaccinate NPCs or cure zombies, you'll be able to breed them, but this comes at a cost.

Antidotes and vaccines cause their lifespan to be drastically shortened to only 2 hours before they age.

This life stage only lasts 30 minutes.

Healing NPCs raised from babies do not have their lifespan shortened, they live forever like vanilla villagers. You can trade with them for as long as you want.

Unlike older versions of the cure, the new one does not rest or require food and medicine.

When the breeding cure is fully grown, it will have a trade table and it will not change its trades. You can re-roll the dice by giving it a set of dice. This will change what they can trade, or possibly make what they can trade worse.

Additionally, zombies will now seek out and attack new healers, and you will need to secure the area before starting to breed.

Rotten Flesh Chestplate

Carrion Breastplate makes you invisible to zombies. I don't mean invisible like a potion effect, but when you put it on, you don't exist to them. This will allow you to get close to them and collect the resources you need.

Sounds wonderful, doesn't it?

Indeed it is! When you're wearing chest armor, zombie wolves and rats will attack you. Zombie wolves can still smell you, and rats think you're rotten flesh.

Hit it twice with anything and it disappears. After all it is only made of meat.

Items

New items have been added to the game. These item will play a role in keeping you alive for as long as possible.

Carving Knives:

Carving Knives have 5 different versions: Stone, Iron, Gold, Diamond and Netherite
Carving Knives are usless for fighting they will run out so fast if you use them to battle with.
They are used to strip the Rotten Flesh from Zombie Corpses

Stone Carving Knives are the weakest and have the least durability
Iron Carving Knives are a little better then stone Carving Knives
Gold Carving Knives are the same as Stone Carving Knives but look better
Diamond Carving Knives are 2x better then Iron Carving Knives
Netherite are 2x better the Diamond Carving Knives

Cleavers:

Cleavers have 5 different versions: Stone, Iron, Gold, Diamond and Netherite
Cleavers  are usless for fighting they will run out so fast if you use them to battle with.
They are use to chop up Zombie Skeletons and collect the Bones.

Stone Cleavers are the weakest and have the least durability
Iron Cleavers are a little better then stone Cleavers
Gold Cleavers are the same as Stone Cleavers but look better
Diamond Cleavers are 2x better then Iron Cleavers
Netherite are 2x better the Diamond Cleavers

Lucille Bat is the only craftable weapon for Zombie killing

Use these items to trade with NPC's

These items can be found in most structures, each item of food may keep you alive that little bit longer

Each Chacolate will give you a 7 second speed boost

These items can be found in some structures, the Med Kit can only be found in Loot Drops, Each one will help keep your hearts above death

Night Vision Goggles

These can be found in Ammo Chests inside Structures
Night Vision Goggles will give you the night vision effect for as long as you are wearing them. They are a very delicate piece of equipment, they will not last long if they are damaged.

Water Lung

These can be found in Ammo Chests inside Structures
Water Lungs will allow you to breath underwater for as long as your wearing it. They are a very delicate piece of equipment, they will not last long if they are damaged

Dingy

Dingy Boat have been added for faster travel over the water, it can carry four entities including yourself, perfect for carrying your tamed mobs over sea.

You will find Dingy Boats in the new Boat Structures, you will be  garanteed one from this structure. You will need the Air Pump to inflate the Dingy, You will have a chance of finding one inside the Boat chest.
When you inflate the Dingy it will have a chance to pop and become unusable.
You can attach a Lead to the Dingy if you prefer not to deflate it.

Shooting a Flare Gun up into the air will summon an Air Drop, the loot inside will reflect the rarity of the Flare Gun itself

Army green is smaller but more common 5 slot inventory

Walk to it to put it on your back, Sneak and Jump to release the Backpack

Infected Animals

Animals will spawn around your world like normal but Zombie Wolves are on the look out, If a Zombie Wolf get hold of a Farm Animal and kills it, it will become a Zombie itself and start attacking other mobs and you.

Zombie Claus

Zombie Claus will spawn in Frozen Biomes, they will be bigger and stronger then other Zombies and kill hunt you down fast. If you will one they will drop a Present open the present to get some handy rewards.
