Aviancraft: Seriemas Mod(Terror birds & their relatives)

"Minecraft" new Seriemas creature pack released

This mob pack adds 20 Seriemas to Minecraft, including 2 living Seriemas, 18 extinct species (including some of the most famous terror birds), and a bonus mob - Xenosmilus hodsonae. These creatures all have unique models, animations, and sound effects.

Precautions

All 18 extinct species of Seriemas spawn ghosts at night and burn during the day.

To resurrect extinct Seriemas, pour them with a Potion of Weakness, then immediately heal them with a Totem of Undying. After a while, their eyes will return to normal and they will no longer have the burning sensation during the day.

Mod introduction

Hosrhacos, Titanis, Physornis, Mesembriornis, and Patagonis are tamable creatures.

To tame Phosrhacos and Titanis, you need to revive them first (after their eyes return to normal), then attack them until they start deliberately avoiding other creatures (which means they have very low health). Then ride on them until they calm down. Finally, feed them cooked chicken to tame them.

Both Phosrhacos and Titanis are rideable. You only need to equip them with saddles to control their direction. While riding a Titanis, pressing the jump button will cause it to attack things in front of you (you don't need to jump off the Titanis).

To tame Physornis

you need to revive it first, then feed it carrion to gain its trust, and finally tame it with cooked chicken. After taming is successful, you can hold the box or saddle and long press/right-click Physornis to place the box or saddle on it. You can ride Physornis, but you can't control the direction. Chests can hold quite a few items. If your Physornis is injured, feed it meat or carrion to heal it (carrion is recommended as it heals the bird more effectively).

Taming Mesembriornis and Patagornis

you need to revive them first. Then, attack them with a shield in hand. Sneak when they charge at you, which stuns them for a few seconds. Use cooked chicken to tame them while they're unconscious. After taming successfully, you can let them patrol or follow you. In patrol mode, Mesembriornis will attack other small animals on sight and will not follow the player. When experimental features are turned on in the game settings, tamed Mesembriornis will collect animal trophies and give them as gifts to their owners. Patagornis will collect crop and tree loot and give it to the player. Neither bird is rideable.

The giant of saber-toothed tigers: Xenosmilus hodsonae

Xenosmilus hodsonae, also known as the "cookie cutter cat," was a saber-toothed cat that lived in North America during the Pleistocene Epoch. It has the sharpest and most developed canine and incisor teeth of all cats. Despite being a close relative of the genus Sabretooth, Xenosmilus was much stronger and more muscular. On top of that, it's possible it might have encountered a titan in real life.

After defeating a default Titanis (with white eyes) in game, there's a chance that it will drop Xenosmilus skull and Xenosmilus leather. These two, along side Goat Horn, Totem Of Undying, Stripped Oak Log as well as Smooth Stone, can be used to craft a Xenosmilus Totem
