Map Editor is a modding tool designed for editing the GTA San Andreas map. It's a ported version of the MEd editor program, with numerous improvements over the PC version. The tool comes in two versions: a free version and a paid professional version.
The main functions of the tool include the ability to edit IDE and IPL files, adjust object position and rotation, render maps for IPL, and perform live editing.
To get started with the tool, simply install it and open it up. The first time you launch the tool, you'll be prompted to download assets. Agree to this prompt, and the tool will download everything you need, which weighs a total of 80 MB.
